Kaizer Chiefs left-wingback Paseka Mako has opened about his move from Orlando Pirates saying he doesn’t want to dwell much on the past.
Mako, 31, joined Amakhosi at the start of the current campaign on a three-year deal and has played seven matches so far to help the side to fourth place on the Betway premiership table with 24 points in 13 league games.
Speaking ahead of Chiefs’ league match against Golden Arrows Mako admitted it was a tough move however he is fully focused on helping his new club.
“What I can say is that it was tough to leave the other side to come this side,” said Mako.
“But now my focus is here at Kaizer Chiefs and as I said I don’t want to look at the past so my main focus is to help this team to go forward and lift trophies.
“I’m professional enough to know I have played for a big team and joined another big team. So in terms of me adjusting I have not changed too much, I’m still the same person I was from my previous club.”
