Orlando Pirates have confirmed the loan of Tshegofatso Mabasa to Stellenbosch for the remainder of the 2025/26 season.
iDiski Times had previously reported the move after Mabasa joined Gavin Hunt’s team for training on the weekend.
Mabasa, who was a regular at Pirates last season under Jose Riveiro, featured just five times in the league for Abdeslam Ouaddou’s team this season, scoring one goal.
This is not the first time the 29-year-old has had to go on loan for regular game time, having previously had spells at Sekhukhune United and Swallows.
