Orlando Pirates have announced they have entered into a new partnership with Amstel, who take over the naming rights of Orlando Stadium.
The Buccaneers are celebrating the 78th birthday of their founder and chairman, Dr Irvin Khoza on Tuesday, and what better way to celebrate than with a new sponsorship deal.
The club announced Amstel have taken over the naming rights of Orlando Stadium, which is now known as Orlando Amstel Arena.
“A new chapter in the story of Soweto football was unveiled on Tuesday morning as Amstel, the official beer partner of Orlando Pirates Football Club, revealed the new name of the iconic stadium – Orlando Amstel Arena,” the club stated.

The Buccaneers signed a five-year deal with Heineken South Africa and Stadium Management SA, which was announced during a illustrious ceremony on Tuesday.
The first game at the stadium under the new name will be Pirates’ home fixture against Maegsi on 31 January at 18:00.
