Towering SA striker Simon van Duivenbooden has joined Finnish Club Vaasan Palloseura on a one-year deal after parting ways with Cape Town City.
Van Duivenbooden joined the Citizens from Dutch side Vitesse in August 2025 but struggled for game time at the Mother City outfit registering no goals or assists.
The 23-year-old was announced by the club who are campaigning in Finland’s top tier, Veikkausliiga, on Friday afternoon.
