Brasileiro Serie A outfit Fluminense have announced the signing of 18-year-old attacking South African midfielder Kgomotso Madiba until 2029.
Madiba joins from the renowned Stars Of Africa Academy but will however turn out for Fluminense’ Under-20 team and is already training in Xerém.
The Amajita AFCON winner has expressed his desire to take his football to the next step in Brazil.
“I am very grateful to Fluminense for the opportunity to do what I love most and become one of the few South Africans in history to play in Brazil.
“I believe I can contribute to the team, so the fans should expect the best from me. I am here to help the team with goals, win titles, and I hope to use Brazilian football to improve,” said Madiba.
