Ramovic On Stellies’ New Signings

CR Belouizdad coach Sead Ramovic says the player movements at opponents Stellenbosch FC could work in the advantage of Stellies, however he has tried to do his homework on the new acquisitions.

Gavin Hunt’s side have been one of the busiest in the January transfer window, releasing four players while signing six – even though some are on loan. Meanwhile, CRB and Stellies meet on Sunday in a top of Group C clash in the CAF Confederation Cup with two points separating them after three matches.

Ramovic said it wasn’t easy to get information on Stellies’ new players, however he knows how his counterpart Hunt plays and they will try to get something from the fixture.

“It’s not easy, if they bring now some new players in because then we don’t know actually how we can describe the strongness and weakness of this kind of players,” said Ramovic.

“So we tried to then get some information from other coaches that I know here and ask around what type he brought in.

“But in the end, of course, we know the style of Gavin Hunt and we try to see probably he will play on this way or on that way and then we are preparing ourselves.

“But in the end, of course, it will be a very, again, very difficult game because Gavin has a lot of experience. We know how he does the things and we are again prepared.

“We are playing now away. We played in Otoho we didn’t get a good result there, so we’re trying now not to do the same mistakes and try to get something out of here.”

The match between Stellies and CRB kicks off at 15:00 at DHL Stadium.
