Kaizer Chiefs and Zambia Super League side ZESCO United have announced their starting line-up for today’s CAF Confederation Cup clash at Moses Mabhida Stadium.
Chiefs managed to get maximum points in Zambia last week which was their first win in the group stages. Meanwhile, Zega Mambo and Team Ya Ziko are yet to get maximum points.
Last weekend’s win for Chiefs saw Chiefs move to four points from three games, meaning they have their fate of qualifying in their own hands.
Amakhosi have been doing well since the resumption of the season in 2026, winning all three matches by 1-0.
Meanwhile, ZESCO Utd will be eliminated if they lose today – even a draw could see them getting eliminated depending on the later result between Al Masry and Zamalek.
The last time ZESCO Utd played Chiefs on South African soil they were victorious by 2-1 which was six years ago.
Here is how they line up:
Chiefs XI: Petersen, McCarthy, Miguel, Kwinika, Solomons, Ndlovu, Maboe, Vilakazi, Mmodi, Lilepo, Da Silva
Subs: Bvuma, Msimango, Mako, Monyane, Mabaso, Sirino, Shabalala, Duba, Velebayi
