Kaizer Chiefs legend Doctor Khumalo has spoken glowingly about the club’s coaches and players following impressive performances both domestically and on the continental stage.
Amakhosi currently sit at the top of their CAF Confederation Cup group with 10 points from five matches, putting themselves in a strong position to advance to the knockout stages.
On the domestic front, Chiefs are also enjoying a solid campaign in the Betway Premiership. They are firmly among the title contenders, occupying third place on the league table with 30 points from 15 matches.
Their improved form and ability to grind out results have seemingly marked a significant turnaround compared to previous seasons.

Khumalo believes the team has made tremendous progress compared to what it achieved in recent seasons. According to the former midfield maestro, there is clear evidence of hard work being done at Naturena.
He credited head coaches Cedric Kaze and Khalil Ben Youssef, along with the players, for getting things right.
“Look where Kaizer Chiefs are, we even forget that they are topping the log of CAF [Confederation Cup],” said Khumalo.
“We are focusing on history, we even forget that they are not just in the top eight bracket, lying number seven or eight. They are right there between one and five.
“How did they manage to do that? Against all odds, they managed to do that. So, clearly there’s something that these boys and the coaches are cooking that is working for the club.”
