TS Galaxy and Mamelodi Sundowns have announced their starting line-ups for their Nedbank Cup Last 16 clash at Solomon Mahlangu Stadium this afternoon.
Galaxy aim to book their place in the Nedbank Cup quarter-final but they will have eliminate on-form Sundowns.
The Rockets haven’t been doing too well lately, losing three and winning just two of their games in 2026. They eliminated Marumo Gallants to get to this stage and will aim to advance after losing at this round last season.
High-flying Sundowns still have a chance to win the treble this season after coming off two crucial wins against MC Alger to secure a quarter-final spot in the CAF Champions League and Orlando Pirates in the league to close the gap at the top.
These two sides are familiar with each other, Sundowns already beat Galaxy 1-0 in November but would look to avoid what happened in 2023 during 2023 Carling Knockout Cup at Mbombela Stadium.
