Ouaddou Gives Injury Update On Dlamini

Orlando Pirates coach Abdeslam Ouaddou has given an injury update on Kabelo Dlamini, who has not featured for the team in recent matches.

The left-footer has been one of the players who has struggled to become a regular in the starting line-up under the French-Moroccan tactician this season.

He has made nine appearances across the four competitions the club has participated in this season, providing two assists in the process.

Dlamini has also been linked with an exit, particularly during the January transfer window, with clubs such as Sekhukhune United said to be interested in his services.

According to Ouaddou, Dlamini has been injured, which is why he has not been part of the team in recent matches.

However, he stated that the player will return soon, as he is now undergoing rehabilitation.

“Dlamini is injured at the moment, I don’t know if you know about that,” said Ouaddou.

“But it’s been three weeks that he has had an injury. But he’s coming back because he’s in a rehabilitation.”

Ouaddou suffered back-to-back defeats for the second time this season since the opening day of the 2025/26 campaign when they lost to Sekhukhune United and Marumo Gallants.
