AmaZulu youngster Athini Maqokolo has opened up about what sets coach Arthur Zwane apart from several other coaches.
The 23-year-old is playing in the PSL topflight for the first time this season and has become one of Usuthu’s key attacking players.

Maqokolo has already made 15 appearances, scoring four goals and providing two assists in the process.
He says it is his first time working with a coach who believes so strongly in young players, and he feels this sets Zwane apart from many coaches he has worked with.
“It’s my first time, working with a coach who believes a lot on young players,” said Maqokolo.
“Where I’ve played before, coaches weren’t believing much on young players. And how he coaches me, I can understand everything he says.”
Maqokolo admits he is still struggling to believe how quickly his career has progressed, having featured regularly in the first team in his debut season in the topflight.
“I’d say that I’m still shocked with what has happened with me,” he added.
“It’s still my first season, I’m still new and I haven’t reached the level I want to reach.”
