Mamelodi Sundowns and Sekhukhune United have named their respective starting line-ups for this afternoon’s Betway Premiership clash at Loftus Versfeld Stadium.
The defending Betway Prem champions are looking tighten grip on top spot by overcoming Babina Noko after they slipped into second place following Orlando Pirates’ win over Kaizer Chiefs in the Soweto Derby on Saturday.

- Sundowns Make Major Announcement
After their surprise exit from the Nedbank Cup at the hands of TS Galaxy, Masandawana bounced back with a hard-fought 1-0 win over AmaZulu FC.
Sekhukhune on the other hand secured a 1-0 victory over the University of Pretoria to march into the quarterfinals of the Nedbank Cup and stretch their winning streak to four matches.
Eric Tinkler’s charges currently sit third in the log standings, six points adrift of Sundowns with a rare win for the visitors taking them within three points.
While Sundowns have the likes of Mothobi Mvala, Monnapule Saleng, Zuko Mdunyelwa, Bathusi Aubaas, Arthur Sales, Keanu Cupido and Thapelo Morena on their injury list, Sekhukhune have a clean bill of health with only Bradley Mojela suspended for this tie.
Sundowns came out tops in the first meeting between the two sides earlier this season which was a 2-0 win.
