The draw for the Nebank Cup semi-finals took place on Monday evening, bringing us two enticing ties between the giant killers.
It has been a tournament of the underdogs this season, with defending champions Kaizer Chiefs already knocked out in the Round of 32.
In the Last 16, Mamelodi Sundowns and Orlando Pirates were then eliminated. This past weekend, three further Betway Premiership sides were knocked out, as all of AmaZulu (vs Casric), Sekhukhune United (vs Milford) and Golden Arrows (vs Durban City) were sent packing.
Meanwhile, TS Galaxy made light work of Jacksa Spears to book their spot and the Rockets will now face Milford FC in the semis.
The second semi-final will be contested between Durban City and Casric Stars, as both Betway Premiership sides avoided each other in the draw.
There will be a new name on the Nedbank Cup trophy, as neither of the four sides have lifted the trophy so far.
