The upcoming Soweto Derby has been moved from Saturday, 25 April to Sunday, 26 April – the kick off remained 15:00.
Orlando Pirates will host Kaizer Chiefs this time around after the Buccaneers won the “away fixture” 3-0 in February.
With Pirates and Chiefs set to battle each other one more time this season, the match was initially scheduled for the Saturday.
However, the Buccaneers have now released a fixture update, confirming the game will be played on Sunday 26 April, with Monday being a public holiday.
An update on ticket sales for the highly anticipated match is yet to be announced, with the game expected to be another sold-out affair.
Pirates currently sit at the top of the Betway Premiership with 51 points from 22 games – one ahead of Mamelodi Sundowns, who have a game in hand.
Meanwhile, Chiefs are in fourth with 36 points, just behind third-placed AmaZulu but with two games in hand.
