After last night’s round of international fixtures all 48 teams going to the 2026 FIFA World Cup have been confirmed, with DR Congo becoming the 10th nation at the tournament.
DRC had to play the intercontinental playoff against Jamaica after beating Nigeria in the CAF second round on penalties in November. On Tuesday, DRC faced Jamaica in Zapopan, Mexico and needed injury-time to secure a 1-0 win after a goal by Axel Tuanzebe.
