Mamelodi Sundowns and Antalyaspor JPM will contest the final of the 2026 Bayhill U19 Premier Cup at Athlone Stadium on Monday.
After five gruelling days, the finalists were decided on Sunday at Erica Park, with both the quarter-finals and semi-final games being played.
Stellenbosch made the last four by beating 2024 champions Cape Town Spurs, while Stars of Africa’s run of wins ended at four as they lost 2-0 to Mamelodi Sundowns.
Everton got past Eagles Performance, who had beaten defending champions Ubuntu in the last 16, with the Nyanga side victorious via penalties. Finally, former Mamelodi Sundowns player Gareth Ncaca’s Antalyaspor JPM side ended the hopes of last year’s finalists Randburg.
In the semis, Sundowns proved too strong for Everton, running out 3-0 winners, while Antalyaspor got the better of Stellenbosch in a penalty shoot-out win, after it had ended 1-1 after extra time.
Meanwhile, Randburg and Cape Town Spurs will play in the Pat Connolly Mid-Section final, while Rygersdal and Hout Bay will feature in the Bruyns Plate Section final.
