Hollywoodbets Super League side University of Pretoria (AmaTuks) have launched their 2026 season with the announcement of a new sponsor and unveiling of new players and new kit on Wednesday at Tuks Stadium.
The 2026 season will be Tuks’ fourth campaign in the highest league of women’s football in South Africa after their promotion from the SASOL league in 2022.
In their first season they finished in sixth position with 42 points, in their second term they finished in eighth place with 42 points and the last season was their lowest placing in ninth spot with 38 points.
They have announced 16 new players for the upcoming campaign, with three young goalkeepers, including South African junior international Dakalo Mafumo.
The Maud Khumalo-led side is also boosted by the arrival of winger Khunjulwa Mali and defender Thato Letsoso on loan from champions Mamelodi Sundowns Ladies. They have also promoted two players from their development ranks – midfielders Courtney Jacobs and Nhlakanipho Filand.
For the club the highlight was the announcement of Financial service company Machankura as their sleeve sponsor for the season. The company’s services are designed to enable bitcoin transactions in several African countries.

Tuks became the second women’s side to announce a sponsor in pre-season after Kaizer Chiefs Ladies although the latter plays in the SASOL league.
Meanwhile Amatuks Manager Pearl Mosoane was quoted as saying the launch was more than a celebration but a statement of intent and that the side is ready to compete, inspire and grow.
The new dates for the new Hollywoodbets League campaign are yet to be released.
