Former Orlando Pirates centre-back Mbekezeli Mbokazi won the Man of the Match award with another stellar performance for Chicago Fire in the Major League Soccer.
Chicago collected their third successive win and fourth third clean sheet after seven games in the MLS, beating Atalanta 1-0 on Saturday night.

Mbokazi, who walked straight into the Chicago starting XI after his move from Orlando Pirates, made six clearances in the match, blocked five shots, made three ball recoveries, won three of his four duels, and made one clearance off the line.
All his defensive contributions got him an 8.7 rating on Sofascore – higher than any other player on the pitch, while he also won the official Man of the Match.

Mbokazi has started all seven games for Chicago Fire, while Puso Dithejane came off the bench for the second time but only featured for a few minutes after his 89th minute substitution.
Chicago moved into sixth place in the MLS standings, with 13 points from seven games – five behind leaders Vancouver.
