Kaizer Chiefs and TS Galaxy have announced their starting line-ups for the mouthwatering Betway Premiership match scheduled at the FNB Stadium.
Chiefs aim to make it four straight wins this afternoon, something they haven’t done this season in the league. Amakhosi are in a good run, as they aim to finish in the CAF inter-club spot.

Mathematically, Chiefs could still win the league, but that would require a lot, including Mamelodi Sundowns and Orlando Pirates losing five of their remaining games.
Amakhosi are sitting in third place with 39 points after 21 games, and are currently the lowest-scoring team in the top four. But after AmaZulu dropping points yet again, they have a chance to go three points clear of Usuthu with two games in hand.
Meanwhile, Galaxy are listening to a different kind of music, as they are slowly dropping down the league table.
The Rockets are currently sitting in 12th place with 25 points after 23 games, eight points above the relegation zone. But they have lost seven of their last eight league matches and conceded 18 goals, including the 6-0 drubbing against Orlando Pirates.
Today, they will be without the suspended Mlungisi Mbujana, Junior Zindonga, and Oupa Motaung.
In the last eight meetings, there have been seven draws between the two sides, with Galaxy winning the only game. Chiefs last beat Galaxy in 2021 with Samir Nurkovic’s goal.
Here is how they line up:
Chiefs XI: Petersen, Cross, McCarthy, Msimango, Monyane, Ndlovu, Maboe, Shabalala, Lilepo, Da Silva, Duba
Subs: Bvuma, Frosler, Miguel, Mthethwa, Cele, Chislett, Mayo, Vilakazi, Velebayi
Galaxy XI: Ira, Fisher, Zulu, Silva, Letsoenyo, Maduna, Kokora, Mahlambi, Ngwenya, Moletshe, Letsoalo.
Subs: Maseti, Mahlangu, Dlamini, George, Keita, Melasse, Mgaga, Oumari, Nkosi
