Golden Arrows attacker Siyanda Ndlovu has shared his reaction after scooping the KZN Sports Personality of the Year award over the past weekend.
The 22-year-old edged out strong competition from Zakithi Nene [athletics], Nonkululeko Mlaba [cricket], Mhlengi Gwala [triathlon], and Thulisile Maduna [netball] to claim the honour.
The young forward has impressed for Arrows throughout the season, significantly contributing exciting brand of football in the PSL.
His remarkable run of form earned him the Betway Premiership Player of the Month award for September/October 2025, along with the Goal of the Month prize for a brilliant solo strike against Stellenbosch FC.
He expressed gratitude to the KZN Department of Sports and Culture, his club, family, and everyone who voted for him.
“I’d like to thank the Department of Sports and Culture for nominating me,” said Ndlovu as per the Up Back Through Podcast.
“I’d like to thank also the ones who voted for me, my club, my family and everyone. What you did to me, do it to others too.
“Also the ones that were nominated with, they mustn’t back down, they must continue to work hard.”
Ndlovu has made 26 appearances in all competitions, registering four goals and eight assists and has strongly been linked with moves to Orlando Pirates and Mamelodi Sundowns.
