We Can’t Hide – Freese On Pirates Challenge Ahead

Magesi FC head coach Allan Freese says his side is facing an uphill battle in their last three matches of the season starting with Orlando Pirates this weekend after leaving their survival chances in other people’s hands.

Magesi lost 2-1 to fellow relegation candidates Orbit College at home on Tuesday to drop back into the danger zone with 21 points, a result that left the coach very unhappy saying everyone now needs to step up.

Dikwena tṧa meetse must win all their games and hope for favourable results in the matches involving Orbit and Marumo Gallants to save their top-flight status.

They host a high flying Pirates at the Peter Mokaba Stadium on Saturday who are also chasing the title first and highly likely without the loaned duo of Sifiso Luthuli and Siyabonga Ndlozi.

Freese says he’s just going to have to do with the players available and that there is no time to hide anymore for his side.

“We are going to go out there and play we can’t hide,” said Freese.

“It’s a fixture. We must prepare for it, and we must go play the game.

“Well, I believe not [having Luthuli and Ndlozi] I believe not. So, we must prepare with whatever players we have. We’ve got to do that. We’ve got to prepare with whatever players we have.

“Well, it becomes a do or die and sometimes the things are left with the players. They must also fight. I can’t fight alone.

“They must also help fight. So, it becomes a do or die game every game we play. Now, there’s three left, can we take chances with these three games? No.

“So, every game we must go fight now.”
