Former Kaizer Chiefs striker Samir Nurkovic is set to leave Siwelele FC at the end of the season when his contract expires.
iDiski Times has established that Nurkovic, who has been out injured almost the whole campaign, will leave Siwelele FC when his contract at the end of June 2026.
The 33-year old made only four appearances this season and that was at the beginning of 2025/26. He last played in November in their 2-0 loss at the hands of AmaZulu FC.
With the injury troubling Nurkovic, even retirement is on the cards for the former Amakhosi marksman.
The Serbian had his best season at Chiefs where he scored 12 goals but unfortunately, they lost the league title on the last day to Mamelodi Sundowns.
Overall, Nurkovic scored 21 goals in 78 appearances for Amakhosi, while also netting 10 times in 29 matches for TS Galaxy and twice last season in the colours of SuperSport United.
