Portugal have confirmed their 27-man squad for the 2026 FIFA World Cup in the Americas next month.
Superstar and captain Cristiano Ronaldo will make his sixth appearance at the global showpiece having featured in 2006 in Germany, South Africa in 2010, Brazil in 2014, 2018 in Croatia and then Qatar in 2022.
The Euro 2016 winners are in Group K with the DR Congo, Colombia and Uzbekistan.
Manager Roberto Martínez named his squad on Tuesday afternoon, and here are all the players who’ve made the cut:
Goalkeepers: Diogo Costa, José Sá, Rui Silva, Ricardo Velho
Defenders: Diogo Dalot, Matheus Nunes, Nélson Semedo, João Cancelo, Nuno Mendes, Gonçalo Inácio, Renato Veiga, Rúben Dias, Tomás Araújo
Midfielders: Rúben Neves, Samuel Costa, João Neves, Vitinha, Bruno Fernandes, Bernardo Silva
Forwards: João Félix, Trincão, Francisco Conceição, Pedro Neto, Rafael Leão, Gonçalo Guedes, Gonçalo Ramos, Cristiano Ronaldo
There are no surprise exclusions but the likes of João Palhinha, Paulinho, Ricardo Horta, António Silva and Pedro Gonçalves will not be boarding the plane for the World Cup.
They kickstart their tournament against Congo on 17 June at NRG Stadium before entertaining Uzbekistan at the same venue on 23 June. They will then conclude the group stages against Colombia at Hard Rock Stadium four days later.
