Mamelodi Sundowns and Bundesliga side RB Leipzig have confirmed their starting lineups for this evening’s friendly match at Lucas Moripe Stadium.
Fresh from lifting the CAF Champions League trophy, Sundowns is already starting their preparations for the 2026/27 season with high profile friendly against Leipzig.

Masandawana had a great season after finally landing the CAF Champions League trophy beating AS FAR by 2-1 on aggregate. The Tshwane giants didn’t have much time to rest as they’ve been on road to celebrate the CAFCL.
Miguel Cardoso has been forced to make changes in his team as Ronwen Williams, Khulumani Ndamane, Khuliso Mudau, Aubrey Modiba, Teboho Mokoena, Jayden Adams, Themba Zwane and Iqraam Rayners are all with Bafana Bafana ahead of the FIFA World Cup.

This is the first time these two sides face each other, but not the first time Sundowns battles with European side on South African soil. They had Barcelona here in May 2018.
