Mamelodi Sundowns are close to finalising a deal with SV Ried for former Stellenbosch FC winger Antonio Van Wyk.

Masandawana have been looking to sign the former Stellenbosch winger in a bid to strengthen their squad ahead of next season.
The latest information received by iDiski Times, states that Sundowns and Ried reached an agreement for the winger, while personal terms are not an issue as Van Wyk has completed medicals for the move last week already.
The 24-year old made 53 appearances in the colours of Ried in the last two seasons, scoring four goals and laying seven assists, helping his side to gain promotion to the top tier last season.
Van Wyk came through the Ubuntu Academy, and was linked to moves abroad as a teenager, but when COVID limited movement, he signed for Stellenbosch.
He spent three years in the Cape Winelands before joining SV Ried in 2024.
Despite his exploits in Europe, Van Wyk is yet to make the breakthrough in the Bafana squad, but he has four senior caps and one goal for the national team during the Cosafa Cup.
