iDiski Times has reliably established that Golden Arrows have officially parted ways with head coach Manqoba Mngqithi.

As previously reported by this website, Abafana Bes’thende have already begun shaking up their technical team, with assistant coaches Kagiso Dikgacoi and Musa Bilankulu recently leaving the club.

The duo, along with goalkeeper coach Marcus Mashilo, were served with formal letters notifying them of their exits.

Now, this publication has been informed that Mngqithi, who guided the team to its first top-eight finish since the 2020/21 season, also formally departed the Durban-based outfit at the beginning of the week.

Arrows finished in sixth place in the Betway Premiership standings, accumulating 41 points from their 30 league fixtures during the 2025/26 season.

This was Mngqithi’s third stint in the Arrows dugout, where he spearheaded the team for 46 matches—winning 17, drawing 11, and losing 18.

Meanwhile, it remains to be seen who the club will bring in to take over, with pre-season training set to commence in the coming week.

Arrows initially held talks with former TS Galaxy coach Adnan Beganovic; however, those discussions are said to have broken down.
