Former Golden Arrows first-team player and youth coach Andile Fikizolo is set to double up as a second assistant coach to Pitso Dladla and DDC head coach, iDiski Times has learnt.
Dladla was appointed to replace Manqoba Mngqithi, who parted ways with the club following the expiry of his contract at the end of last season.
The Nedbank Cup-winning coach officially began pre-season preparations with the squad on Wednesday as Abafana Bes’thende commenced their build-up to the 2026/27 campaign.
Dladla has also assembled a new-look technical team. James Madidilane arrived as assistant coach, replacing Musa Bilankulu, who recently joined Marumo Gallants.
Arrows also appointed Jacob Mokhasi as their new goalkeeper coach. Mokhasi, who joins from Marumo Gallants, replaces Marcus Mashilo in the role.
Meanwhile, Fikizolo is expected to take up the position of second assistant coach while serving as the club’s DDC head coach, allowing him to combine both responsibilities.
Fikizolo’s promotion comes on the back of an outstanding season in charge of the Arrows reserves, guiding the team to the MRL Hollywoodbets Super League title with two matches to spare.
His work in developing young talent has earned him an opportunity to step into the senior setup as part of Dladla’s technical staff.
