April, who came through youth ranks at Stellenbosch and FN Rangers, had an impressive campaign in the ABC Motsepe League where he played a vital role in The Immortals’ journey to the second tier.
April didn’t only do well in the provincial ABC Motsepe League but was one of the outstanding performers in the national promotion playoffs, catching eyes of several top flight sides but the 2026 Netbank Cup champions were quick to move.
Durban City have already confirmed the appointment of new head coach Khalil Ben Youssef who was a co-coach at Kaizer Chiefs last season, and are now working to improving their team for 2026/27.
