Kaizer Chiefs Sporting Director Kaizer Motaung Jr has shared his first words on new head coach Fernando Da Cruz.
The Frenchman arrived at Naturena on Thursday, two weeks after the squad returned for pre-season.
While Da Cruz, who joins the Glamours Boys from the Moroccan Federation, said his immediate focus will be to build a strong connection with the players and instilling a winning mentality, Kaizer Jr says a new exciting chapter has started at the club.
“We would like to welcome Coach Da Cruz to Kaizer Chiefs,” he told the club’s media team.
“His arrival marks the beginning of an exciting chapter for the Club, and we look forward to seeing his vision take shape with the team.
“With the passion of our loyal supporters and the commitment of our players, we believe this partnership will bring renewed energy and success as we prepare for the upcoming season.”
