Kaizer Chiefs have confirmed the exit of striker Tashreeq Morris on a mutual termination agreement.

The 32-year-old marksman initially joined the Glamour Boys from now defunct SuperSport United in January last year but failed to make an impact during his stay.

He featured just 14 times, registering a single goal in last season’s 2-0 win over Sekhukhune United which secured their third-place Betway Premiership finish.

After the release of George Matlou and Happy Mashiane, the former Cape Town City frontman has joined the list of exits as new coach Fernando Da Cruz gets to working at the club.

“Following constructive discussions between the Club and the player, Kaizer Chiefs and Tashreeq Morris have mutually agreed to terminate their contract.

“This amicable decision grants Morris the opportunity to pursue the next chapter of his career and join a team of his choice.

“We wish Tashreeq success in his future endeavours,” the club said.
