The opening fixtures of the 2026/27 Betway Premiership were revealed, as defending champions Orlando Pirates start against newly-promoted Milford FC.
With the 2026 FIFA World Cup going into its final nine days, the return of domestic football is close, as the league resume on 1 August, a week before the MTN8 quarter-finals will take place.
So close, that the Premier Soccer League have drawn up the fixture list for the upcoming season and sent to clubs for approval.
In a NSL communice seen by iDiski Times, the opening fixtures were revealed (note: fixture are subject to official release).
While Pirates kick off against Milford, Mamelodi Sundowns will host Marumo Gallants and Kaizer Chiefs travel to newly-promoted Kruger United.
There is a special clash, as former Amakhosi co-coaches Cedric Kaze and Khalil Ben Youssef find each on opposing benches when Sekhukhune United host Durban City.
The 2026/27 Betway Premiership campaign kicks off on 1 August.
