Nigerian international goalkeeper Stanley Nwabali is on the verge of re-signing with Chippa United.
iDiski Times understands that the Nigerian shotstopper is currently training with the Chilli Boys as they are preparing for the 2026/27 season under Brandon Truter.
Nwabali, 30, left Chippa earlier this year after returning from the AFCON in Morocco where they won the bronze medal defeating Egypt on penalties.
The exit of Nwabali from Chippa came as a shock as the club was fighting for their lives in the Betway Premiership.
Goalkeeper Dumisani Msibi stepped up and finished the season on a high by keeping five clean sheets and captained the side. Msibi was even close to going to the national team after a string of fine performances.
In the other updates, the Chilli Boys have made a u-turn on signing former Polokwane City goalkeeper Brian Bwire and also made a u-turn on Bongani Sam.
