Kaizer Chiefs starlet Mfundo Vilakazi has shared a heartfelt message with Gaston Sirino after the latter’s exit from the club was announced.
Sirino, 35, left Amakhosi after the club opted against extending his contract. The former Mamelodi Sundowns and Chiefs midfielder is expected to be unveiled by Durban City, as reported by this publication.
Meanwhile, Obrigado is with the Chiefs squad in Spain and shared an emotional message on his social media upon the confirmation of Sirino’s exit.
“Today is a very sad day for me. It’s hard to put into words how much you mean to me,” he wrote.
“Since joining this club I learned a lot from you on and off the field. It was a dream to share the dressing room with you I’ll miss you a lot!
“God bless your path always you’ve shaped my career and my life, more than you probably realise thank you for everything.
“I love you forever bro.”
Sirino himself responded to the post, hailing the talent of Vilakazi and thanking him for his kind words.
“My son it was lovely these two years we shared together, I’m going to miss you,” Sirino replied.
“God gave you an incredible talent; you just have to enjoy it and go for your dreams.”
