Former Mamelodi Sundowns and Wydad Athletic Club Rulani Mokwena has taken two of his most-trusted colleagues onto his technical team at Pyramids FC.
The South African was unveiled by the Egyptian giants on Friday evening, replacing Krunoslav Jurcic who had guided the club to their first ever CAF Champions League title last season.

However, despite lifting the CAF Super Cup and the Egyptian Cup this past season, the Pyramids board opted to part ways with Jurcic after they finished second in the Egyptian Premier League behind Zamalek.
Instead, Mokwena was now unveiled as the new head coach after the South African departed from his role with Libyan giants Al-Ittihad SC.
And Mokwena has once again taken Sinethemba Badela and Wendell Robinson with him. Badela has worked alongside Mokwena at all clubs since he left Sundowns – namely Wydad, MC Alger, Al Ittihad and now Pyramids.
Both, Badela and Robinson also previously worked at Sundowns, Robinson as Goalkeeper Coach, while Badela was in charge of the club’s DStv Diski Challenge team.
Robinson, meanwhile, joined Mokwena’s technical team as goalkeeper coach at MC Alger and Al Ittihad as well, with both unveiled as part of the new Pyramids technical team alongside Mlungisi.
