Orlando Pirates have confirmed the first-team shirt numbers for the 2026/27 season with DStv Diski Challenge youngster Mpho Padime taking over Relebohile Mofokeng’s number 38 jersey.
The defending Betway Premiership champions get their league campaign underway at home on Saturday, 1 August, at Orlando Amstel Arena against rookies Milford FC.

The announcement of the shirt numbers has also seen several players swap their numbers from what they wore last season.
Reigning Premiership Defender of the Season Lebone Seema will now take over number 6 from 33 while Mali midfielder Abdoulaye Mariko takes number 4 after wearing number 32 in his debut season at the Buccaneers.
Boitumelo Radiopane, who fared well for Pirates during their recently concluded pre-season tour of Spain, will now claim the number 25 from the number 42 he donned in the past two seasons.
