Newly promoted Betway Premiership side Milford FC have signed Stellenbosch FC utility player Azasakhe Lukhango, iDiski Times can confirm.
The 20-year-old won the midfielder of the tournament award with Stellenbosch in the Engen Knockout Challenge in 2024.
The Cape Town-born player was promoted to the reserve side of Stellies, where he was converted to the right-back position and played a huge role in the club establishing themselves after winning back-to-back DStv Diski Challenge titles.
Milford is spoilt for choice as they can use the midfielder in either the reserve side for DDC or in the senior team for the Betway Premiership.
Likhango already started his pre-season with Milford and could be in line to feature for Xanti Pupuma’s side this campaign.
