Stellenbosch FC have announced the signing of veteran striker Bradley Grobler on a free transfer.
The 38-year-old decorated forward reunites with astute tactician Gavin Hunt with the two having last worked together at the now defunct a couple of seasons ago before the team’s status was sold and the club renamed Siwelele FC.

Grobler most recently parted ways with Sekhukhune United at the end of the 2025/26 season after Eric Tinkler left the club.
New coach Cedric Kaze has since made playing personnel adjustments and Grobler was among a dozen of players who left the club.
“Stellenbosch FC is delighted to announce the signing of decorated striker Bradley Grobler on a free transfer.
“Regarded as one of South Africa’s most prolific goalscorers, Grobler arrives in the Winelands with 129 PSL goals to his name and stands within touching distance of Peter Shalulile’s all-time record.
“The 38-year-old most recently turned out for the likes of Sekhukhune United and SuperSport United, and notably won the PSL Golden Boot award with the latter during the 2020-21 season.
“He has now reunited with his former Matsatsantsa coach Gavin Hunt in Stellenbosch, where he is hoping to enjoy a successful campaign with the Maroons,” the club announced.
Grobler currently sits on 129 goals and still within a chance to break Peter Shalulile’s all-time PSL record of 134 as he has since left Mzansi for a move to Tanzania champions Young Africans.
