Sekhukhune United head coach Cedric Kaze was left counting his blessings after his team survived a dramatic second-half fightback from AmaZulu to reach the MTN8 semifinals.
Babina Noko defeated Usuthu 4–3 at Chatsworth Stadium on Sunday afternoon in a thrilling encounter.

The Limpopo outfit looked firmly in control when they established a 3–1 advantage in the second half. However, AmaZulu refused to surrender and scored twice to bring the match level.
Sekhukhune managed to regain the lead and ultimately held on for the win, despite AmaZulu threatening on several occasions.
Kaze admitted that the dramatic turnaround had tested his nerves, joking that surrendering a two-goal lead had almost given him a heart attack.
“Let me just take the win, let me just take the win because I almost felt that I was going to have a heart attack with the situation of the game changing so quickly when we are up 3-1 and you feel that you have got the game in your hands,” said Kaze.
“But, you know, things change very quickly in a football game. But it’s a cup game and that’s how they say that the dreams of cup games are like this.
“I’m very happy today that we could go through.”
