Kaizer Chiefs defender Thabo Moloisane’s agent Karabo Mathang-Tshabuse has revealed why her client chose Amakhosi over other clubs that had shown interest in him.
Moloisane, 27, joined Chiefs in July this year from Stellenbosch where he spent three seasons and made his full debut in the 1-1 draw against Mamelodi Sundowns in the Betway Premiership last weekend.
Speaking on Sport Night Amplified With Andile Ncube Mathang-Tshabuse said she’s happy to see her client back home where he can see his family daily.
The P Management agent also revealed there were offers from abroad but didn’t align with the player. She also praised Moloisane’s maturity of understanding that he’s in a new environment that comes with its own challenges.
“He’s at Kaizer Chiefs, and yeah, they fought to have him there, and he wanted to be there, so he forsake all other deals to take that,” she said.
“No, there was one international deal, but it didn’t work for the family in a similar jurisdiction to where Mohau Nkota is. But also, to be fair, it was not advancing in the way that we wanted it to advance.
“Yeah, I think happiness is relative. Every new opportunity brings its own challenges and I think he’s alive to that. You know, he’s alive to the fact that this is an established team.
“You know, it has a captain who has led the team for a while, and so he has to adapt to the Kaizer Chief style of play, but man, that guy is mature and he signed up for it.”
