In Scotland, Olwethu Makhanya continued his impressive run of performances, playing the full 90 minutes as Rangers claimed a 1-0 victory over Jablonec.
In Portugal, Yaya Sithole made a brief seven-minute appearance as Tondela went down 1-0 to Academica.
