Rulani Mokwena has started his reign at Pyramids FC with a 3-0 win over Ghazl El Mahalla this past weekend.
Mokwena replaced Croatian coach Krunoslav Jurčić, who won four trophies at the club, including their first-ever CAF Champions League title when they beat Mamelodi Sundowns last season.

The South African tactician got off to the perfect start, as Pyramids sealed a comfortable 3-0 away victory.
Odeh Fakhoury opened the scoring after 41 minutes, while Nasser Maher and Mahmoud Zalaka added to the scoreline in the 67th and 74th minute, respectively.
After match day one, Mokwena’s men sit at the top of the log, level on points with record champions Al Ahly, who won their opener 3-2 over El Sharkia Enppi.
Defending league champions Zamalek, meanwhile, were held to a goalless draw by Al-Ittihad.
Pyramids already return to action on Thursday when they will take on Abu Qir Fertilizers before facing Al-Masry next week Monday.
