Orlando Pirates have announced their starting line-up for today’s CAF Champions League first preliminary round first leg against Mauritius champions La Cure Wave has been confirmed.
Pirates’ CAFCL journey starts this afternoon when they face CAFCL debutants at the Côte d’Or National Sports Complex.
The Sea Robbers arrived in Mauritius on Friday afternoon after their 4-0 midweek win over newly-promoted side Kruger United in the league. They had their first training session on Saturday afternoon.
The Buccaneers are cruising nicely domestically as they are currently sitting top of the Betway Premiership and have qualified for the final of the MTN8.
But one of their key targets this campaign is qualify for the CAFCL group stages and to erase last season’s disappointment when they failed to do so.
Abdeslam Ouaddou’s side scored 18 goals this season so far and conceded only two goals, which will give them confidence coming into this CAFCL game.
