AmaZulu CEO Sinenjabulo Zungu-Ntuli has provided a major update on the club’s plans to have a women’s team.
Usuthu have been clear about their desire to own a ladies’ team as the club continues to grow under owner Sandile Zungu.

Zungu-Ntuli revealed that AmaZulu have been in discussions with one of the women’s clubs as they explore a potential deal.
While acknowledging the challenges involved in acquiring a women’s team, Zungu-Ntuli stressed that AmaZulu have genuine intentions to make the move happen.
“We have very good intentions to have a ladies team,” said Zungu-Ntuli on Ukhozi FM.
“In fact, let me be straight, we have been in talks with one of the clubs.
“The problem that we usually have, whenever you’re going to add a team, there are cost implications. And there’s also implication on facilities and logistics.
“So, that’s one the problems we face. Look at the fact that we don’t have stadiums. Let’s say we have this ladies team, that’s another challenge.
“But then we’re not far from [getting things done], you might happen to hear this anytime soon.”
