Kaizer Chiefs Ladies are edging ever closer to the promised land after claiming a hard-fought 1-0 win over Hallelujah Zebra Force in the Gauteng Sasol Women’s Provincial League at Bana Sports Ground on Thursday.
The Heritage Day fixture saw the Glamour Girls complete a double over their opponents having hammered Hallelujah Zebra Force 5-3 at Naturena Village early in July.

Amakhosazana came into this tie on the back of another narrow win, beating Young Achievers FC 2-1 to consolidate their spot at the top of the standings.
Against Hallelujah Zebra Force, it was star player Lumka Qhekeka’s solitary goal in the 21st minute which proved the difference on the day as they held out for another win on the road.
Unathi Mabena’s charges have now moved to 64 points in 26 matches recording their 14th unbeaten run on the trot, winning 13 and playing to a single draw while scoring 35 goals in the process.
The Naturena outfit will now be out to win their remaining matches and hope that second-placed Wits University drop points in their matches, having played two less.
