Bafana Bafana have found out which three teams they will face at the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations after Monday’s illustrious draw.
The Confederation of African Football hosted a high-profile drawing ceremony at at Mohammed V National Theatre in Rabat on Monday.
The 24 qualified teams were placed into six groups of four. The top two teams in each group, along with the four best third-placed teams, will advance to the knockout stage.
Bafana, who were placed in Pot 2, based on the December FIFA ranking, will face Egypt, Angola and Zimbabwe in Group B.

- Group A: Morocco, Mali, Zambia, Comoros
- Group B: Egypt, South Africa, Angola, Zimbabwe
- Group C: Nigeria, Tunisia, Uganda, Tanzania
- Group D: Senegal, DR Congo, Benin, Botswana
- Group E: Algeria, Burkina Faso, Equatorial Guinea, Sudan
- Group F: Ivory Coast, Cameroon, Gabon, Mozambique
The tournament kicks off on 21 December, when hosts Morocco will take on Comoros, and the 2025 AFCON runs until 18 January 2026.
