Bafana Bafana head coach Hugo Broos has announced his starting XI for this afternoon’s penultimate 2025 AFCON Qualifiers clash against Uganda.
Broos’ side have already secured their spot at next year’s continental showpiece which will be hosted by Morocco.
Despite securing qualification, Broos made it a point that the aim is to finish top of Group K to also finish the year on a high note.
The Uganda Football Association confirmed that the 45,000 tickets at the Mandela National Stadium in Kampala have been sold out for this encounter.
During the first round in South Africa, Uganda came from 1-0 down to make it 2-1 after Veli Mothwa’s blunder. The Cranes thought they had it in the bag, but Thalente Mbatha scored deep in stoppage to make it 2-2.
These two sides will be battling against each other for the first time on Ugandan soil and it is expected to be a mouthwatering clash as they both want to finish in first place.
