Kaizer Chiefs defender Thatayaone Ditlhokwe has been included in Botswana’s 35-man squad for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers double-header against Mauritania and Egypt.
The Zebras travel away to the Lions of Chinguetti on Saturday, September 7, before hosting the Pharaohs at home in Francistown three days later.
Ditlhokwe, 26, has had an injury-plagued spell at Naturena since joining from SuperSport United at the beginning of 2023/24, making just 21 starts in all competitions.
Veteran goalkeeper, Kabelo Dambe, 34, who once plied his trade in South Africa for the now-defunct Platinum Stars and Bloemfontein Celtic, has received a rare call-up since finding form at Botswana Premier League outfit Township Rollers.
