Petro de Luanda and Mamelodi Sundowns have announced their starting line-ups for this afternoon African Football League clash at Estadio 11 de Novembro.
Two familiar foes will battle in a high prize AFL clash this afternoon. Sundowns come to this match with wounds of being knocked out of the Carling Knockout Cup by TS Galaxy and losing the MTN8 final – both on penalties.
These two sides have been battling against each other in CAF Champions League recently, having met four times before this clash, with both winning one and drawing two.
The Angolan side have been on the headlines lately after they had been accused of match-fixing in Angolan league and with investigations still going on it is not clear what will happen.
Masandawana on the other side have injuries that are troubling them, with Brazilian national Lucas Ribeiro and Peter Shalulile part of the long list that haven’t traveled with the club.
However, Rulani Mokwena will be pleased that he will have his Bafana Bafana contingent back available for selection.
This is a two-legged fixture with second leg set to be played in South Africa on Tuesday evening.
