Benni McCarthy has announced his first Kenya squad for the upcoming FIFA World Cup qualifiers against Gambia and Gabon.
The 47-year-old was unveiled as new coach of the Harembe Stars last week and will have his first game on 20 March.
The South African, who took along Vasili Manousakis as assistant coach, Moeneeb Josephs as goalkeeper coach and also roped in his former AmaZulu analyst Pilela Maposa, announced a provisional squad on Tuesday.
The selection includes Stellenbosch FC defender Brian Onyango, as well as goalkeepers Ian Otieno (Richards Bay) and Brian Bwire (Polokwane City).
