Former Mamelodi Sundowns and Kaizer Chiefs star Khama Billiat is top of the goalscoring charts in Zimbabwe, after scoring his eighth of the season for Yadah on Saturday.
Billiat joined CAPS United’s William Manondo at the top of the league’s goal scoring charts, when he scored Yadah’s opener in a 2-0 win over Bikita Minerals.
Billiat has also provided five assists in his first campaign in his home country in over a decade, having spent 13 years in South Africa, playing for Ajax Cape Town, Sundowns and Chiefs.
But Yadah remain in the bottom half of the table, and are currently 12th, 17 points behind league leaders FC Platinum.
Billiat’s good form has seen him being linked with a possible return to the DStv Premiership. He turns 34 in August.
